Summary/Abstract: For ages, there have been discussions over the status of the beginning of human life. This discussion has been conducted on the common ground of many empirical studies such as biology, embryology or genetics, however it is also present in the studies of philosophy and theology. This study will apt to show some of the characteristic elements of this discussion. The study will attend to justify the need to ask questions regarding the beginning of human life. Then it will address the different stance in this regard and what are the subsequent consequences.
