Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to provide a method for implementing marketing in the area of the meetings industry by foreign convention bureaus. At the beginning the author discusses the subject issue in theoretical terms. The author selects examples of foreign convention bureaus and presents the tools used in marketing of the meetings industry. The proper activities, that are taken in the area of the meetings industry marketing, have an impact on the number of business meetings in the city or region. So, these actions can bring tangible results in terms of increased revenues of the tourist destination.
