Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to illustrate the impact of business tourism on the evolution of city image. The paper starts with a presentation of basic meetings industry concepts, as well as the image of the tourist destination and territorial marketing. The author discusses the factors determining demand and supply in the market, and creating the city image in this area. Further, it uses the case study of Kraków to present the importance of developing business tourism marketing, together with the image of individual events and business meetings.
