Summary/Abstract: The idea of decolonisation is lively present in the public discussion in Bolivia. It shows a high level of polarization of the national consciences and its split between supporters of „civilization” and those of „indianization” of the country. The article describes historical, political, religious, educational situation of Bolivia, the country that seems pass by a difficult moment of redefinition of its own identity. We can see positive and negative sides of decolonization which is a part of the politic agenda of the government of Evo Morales. Finally, the article presents a revolutionary proposal of Copernican turnover in the university teaching, the proposal which is based in a new epistemology inspired by Marxist philosophy.
