Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present the configuration of dynamic capabilities in the context of the effectiveness of open and closed innovation process. Based on the literature overview nine dynamic capabilities were separated, which forms were examined in relation to inbound and outbound open innovation processes, and closed innovation. The effectiveness of innovation processes was established on the basis of the average number of developed innovation. It was verified based on empirical studies on the medium and large industrial enterprises belonging to the six industries of high, medium and low technology. Surveys have covered the years 2012-2014 and entities operating in Poland. A total of 92 responses were obtained.
