Summary/Abstract: The implementation of the strategy and its transformation into activities ensuring operational efficiency is carried out through the management of strategic projects. These projects decide on achieving the organization’s success in the long run, and ensuring their effectiveness is one of the basic tasks of the management. The aim of the article is to present the impact of implementation of strategic projects on the economic efficiency of Polish enterprises. The survey was conducted in 2016 in 168 randomly selected Polish enterprises. The research sample included services (74%), industry or construction (23%) and agriculture, fisheries and forestry (3%). The CATI method was used in the procedure. The main conclusion is that companies developing a strategy much more often evaluate their effectiveness better or much better than companies that do not develop the strategies. This difference is even more evident among companies using strategic projects.
