Summary/Abstract: The research study presents the history of the printing-house from Seini (1897 -1944) and explores the world of the prenumeranten – people that pre-ordered books prior to publication or donated money in order to help cover the printing costs. A gesture of reward and gratitude was to list their names at the end of the books. The research analyzes the typology of the prenumeranten according to their social, cultural and professional background. Also, the work attempts to delineate the geographical trajectory of those books as revealed by the places of origin of the prenumeranten.
