Daily Militarization of Life: Ethical Aspects of the Use of Children in War

Summary/Abstract: The intention of this paper is to highlight the issues of the changed nature of warfare in the last few decades of the twentieth and twenty-first century, with particular emphasis on the use and availability of the children warriors or children soldiers. The basic hypothesis is that the practice of the use and recruitment of children in armed conflicts around the world is an unknown form of worldwide child abuse in contemporary society, and it is less the matter of culture and the lack of attitude of society towards the value of a child, and more the matter of pragmatism and a socioeconomic phenomenon. The expected contribution of this paper goes towards recognizing and highlighting the most serious forms of child abuse, consequences such as poor health outcomes, and the destruction of their lives. Finally, the aim is to find possible solutions to these problems.
