Summary/Abstract: In this article the author explains the development trends of the Musical theatre in B&H thirty years before the war (1992–1995) and until today. Based on personal experiences, starting with her postgraduate studies in 2003 at the Royal Academy of Music as well as professional performances in musicals in London, and engagement at the Academy of Music in Sarajevo, University of Sarajevo on a new study subject Musical-Stage Projects, the author presents an eight-year process of creating a platform for performances in musical theatre, and innovative methods used in education with students. Also, in terms of musical theatre productions from the world literature, this article deals with a variety of issues related to the realization of such productions, highlights the results and achievements and presents the perspectives for further development of Musical theatre in B&H.
