Summary/Abstract: Human life is sacred and inviolable in every moment of its existence, even in the period before birth. Man even in the mother’s womb belongs to God as He, who pervades and knows everything, creates and shapes him with his own hands, sees him when he is still a small, shapeless embryo and can see in him an adult, whom he will become in the future and whose days are already counted and his vocation is already written in the book of life (EV, 61). That is why the basic task of every person is the protection of human life. In the social area man is exposed to life destruction through: abortion, euthanasia and in vitro, whereas in the area of ethics through: suicide, alcoholism and drug addiction. That is why each person, families, institutions should be reminded that their primary task is to protect life and develop the civilization of love, which is fulfilled in the civilization of life. God is the one who guards life, who loves life and gives it. There should be a special appeal to all those, who follow the pro-life attitude, that through the example of their life and help given to others, they give evidence of the culture of life and involve themselves for it.
