Summary/Abstract: Micro, small and medium companies are dominating in total number of all entities on the local market. One of the significant barriers they encounter during their operation is the financial barrier. The trade credit is a valuable instrument used by the micro, small and medium companies, in order to obtain additional funding for its activities. Thanks to its features, trade credit is more attractive than other sources of foreign financing in the company. Trade credit is beneficial for both, suppliers and buyers.
