Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to indicate the importance and role of intangible assets in the service management process in the digital age. In the new digital era, traditionally understood markets subside to networks and owning resources is replaced by access to them. In the new type of economy, the value chain is transformed into a value network, and technology is used to introduce innovative structural solutions. The optimal use of intangible assets for better and better results becomes a very important element of organization management and services marketing. The pillar of knowledge-based economies is service, even 95% of employees can be employed in this sector, while only 4% in production and 1% in agriculture. So, one could ask a question: how important are intangible resources in knowledge-based service organizations?
