Modern local community management – conditions and tools

Summary/Abstract: The article, on the background of general considerations concerning the process of improving the organization of the community, presents the local community as an intelligent organization with elements of modern management. It defines the concept of modernity, entrepreneurship and the quality of local community management. It presents components of local community management system and proposes a set of criteria to evaluate them. An evaluation tool for community management has been developed. The possible usage of the tool is comparative research of local communities.
