Local Spatial Economy in the Aspect of Long-term Planning

Summary/Abstract: Spatial planning is commonly identified as a key instrument for establishing long-term, framework for territorial development. It is also seen as an important instrument for improving the quality of local life. Nevertheless, the example of maritime communes of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship does not confirm the important role of spatial planning in this process.
