Summary/Abstract: The article presents some themes of the national synod held in 1848. The themes presented by the author are selected from the main ecclesiastical issues of the 19th century. The hypothesis of the author is that the main issues discussed in 1822 emerge in 1848 as well, and even later in the 19th century. The national synod prepares the individual diocesan synods.
