The problem of cultural universals of the West and the East: comparative discourse

Summary/Abstract: Article deals with the problem of cultural universalities as with categories of modern philosophical and culturological thinking. Constant cultural senses are exposed in context of discussion between universalism and particularism. The author of the article makes a comparative characterizing of universalities of different cultures on the base of modern typology of culture, dialogical philosophy and theory of cultural comparison. The pattern of comparative and historical research of universalities of East and West is also demonstrated.
