Summary/Abstract: The domain of utility models is of current interest, considering the advantages for inventors and small and medium-sized companies, but it has been insufficiently analyzed by the doctrine. The present study contains a systematic analysis of legal provisions, case law and utility model doctrine, with reference to specific aspects, legal inconsistencies and omissions, by punctual reporting to the law of inventions.
