Summary/Abstract: The right of communication of a work to the public has been established by European standards and it has been clarified by the European case law. There are still unclear aspects regarding the content and modalities of exercising the communication to the public right. The present study concerns the regulation (1), the notion of communication to the public configured by the ECJ (2), the Svensons and GS Media BV cases(3), followed by short remarks and conclusions regarding this right.
