Summary/Abstract: The article verifies the extent of implementing results orientation in the area of quality management system’s requirements. The first part of the study presents an overview of the rules concerning quality management claimed by the International Organization of Normalization followed by analyzing their connection with the rule of the Results Orientation. It was consistent with the EFQM interpretation of the rule. The article continues with studying the requirements included in the ISO 9001 norm. As a result, it distinguished four groups of requirements for the system of quality management following the Result Orientation rule. They concern: customer’s needs and satisfaction, targets of the quality, management of processes and measurements, data analysis and management overview.
