SIBIMOL: Catalographic databases

Summary/Abstract: Articolul prezintă proiectul „SIBIMOL - Sistem Informaţional Integrat al Bibliotecilor din Republica Moldova”. SIBIMOL este un catalog naţional partajat construit după cele mai moderne concepţii, principii şi tehnologii. Articolul propuneo prezentare sintetică a sistemului SIBIMOL, ce constituie o reţea de biblioteci informatizate interconectate, dispunând de module comune: Banca de date a bibliografiei naţionale, Catalogul colectiv al bibliotecilor participante la SIBIMOL, Banca notiţelor analitice, Banca resurselor electronice, Banca de date „Memoria Moldovei”. The paper presents the SIBIMOL project (the Integrated Information System for the Moldovan Libraries). SIBIMOL is the national shared catalogue of the Republic of Moldova and it is designed by the most modern principles and technologies. The paper offers a synthetical presentation of the system, which is a network of computerised libraries, having some common modules: the database of the national bibliography, the union catalogue of the participating libraries, the analytics database, the electronic resources database, the „Memory of Moldova” databank.
