Artistic atmosphere of performance

Summary/Abstract: The work is dedicated to the analysis of artistic atmosphere of a performance and aims to explore the major components of this phenomenon of theater arts. It raises the issues of unique artistic atmosphere of a performance as a certain summary of the whole scenic production and its polyphony. The studies / teachings of V.I. Nemyrovch-Danchenko about three major perceptions, major components of theater arts – real-life, social and theatrical - are fundamental for theatrical science. This study is a methodological basis for resolving a lot of issues of scenic arts including the problems of artistic atmosphere of a performance. In this case it allows us to look at the problem we are interested in from a perspective of one of the main laws of theatre arts and to «catch» it at the point of convergence of the major perceptions of a scenic production – real-life, social and theatrical ones.
