Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is an analysis of importance of choosing a final destination and quality of services which are provided at the hotel compared to the attractiveness of the location. The hypothesis was positively verified that for some tourists a region or a tourist location were not a final destination, but the hotel itself. The methods used included: participant observation (classified observation) and desk research (data analysis). The subject of the study were the opinions of 200 tourists who visited Hotel Primavera in Jastrzębia Góra. 26% of them paid attention to the closed space of the hotel. They described the object as a building complex, which protected all the attractions and services during their visit. For these consumers, the hotel is a space of tourism (i.e. enclave space). It was noted that for some tourists (12%) the range and standard of service at the hotel may be more important than the attractiveness of the region.
