Summary/Abstract: The article describes the most important features of a new electronic Polish language dictionary – {Dobry słownik}, available online at http://dobryslownik.pl. The presentation describes the history of the project, its methodological assumptions, principles of organization of work of the editorial team, etc. {Dobry słownik} can be characterized by the following set of terms: monolingual, hypertext, orthoepic, popular, dedicated for native speakers, descriptive, active and passive, synchronic, general, electronic online.
