Summary/Abstract: Edmund Bojanowski in his pedagogical concept emphasizes the important role of fun in the context of a child’s comprehensive development. Fun is a form of exploration for the child and plays an important role in its harmonious development. It satisfies its important developmental needs, stimulates knowledge acquisition, and develops cause-and-effect thinking. During play children acquire many skills and develop their interests. Bojanowski attributed the play a special educational role. This article shows the role of play in the process of raising a child, and also shows the types and goals of children’s play.
