Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on analysis of tourism in the platforms of the Slovak political parties and the Government Declaration of 2016. The paper is based on the proclamation of politicians about the importance of Slovak tourism for the development of the regions. The aim of the paper is to analyze the approach of Slovak political parties and their voters to tourism as an important sector of the national economy. Paper contains a survey conducted among voters, which shows interest in platforms of political parties as well as voters' opinions on Government measures.
