Summary/Abstract: Traditionally, in Albanian terminology, the alphabetical terminological dictionaries have been and still are the basis of bearing and retrieval of specialized information embodied in the respective terms, since they serve as direct reflection of scientific-technical information. However, with the intensive development of terminologies according to the various fields of knowledge, the conceiving on bearing and retrieval of specialized information is broadened, which has made these two processes, not only the object of terminological dictionaries being conceived as traditional classical means, but also, as more sophisticated ones, created on the basis of the computerized methods implementation. Hence, the Albanian terminology shall experience a transition from the bearing and retrieval of specialized information in terminological dictionaries with limited data (such as term, alphabetic representation, foreign languages), to the bearing and retrieval of terminologies in a complex form relying on terminological banks as a means in which the term is the principal unit having data not only on the term itself, but also on concept which it expresses (including definition, context and a chain of other data).
