Summary/Abstract: The novel “Gremina e dashunis” remains for our reader an unknown and not treated work in our studies for about 70 years, after its first and unique edition in Albania. This novel was published in 1944 from the Publishing House “Ismail Mal’Osmani”. It is the third novel composed in the form of a diary, during the period 1935-1944. After its edition, the novel was a successful work, like two others: “Nga jeta ne jetë. Pse?!” and “Sikur të isha djalë”. Whenever it is written on previous novels in a diary form (it is about the novels created during the years of ‘30), it is stressed the reason of writing in this way, the authors’ opinion about the social aspects of the life and problems of time, the sentimentalism of these works. But it is left out of attention the fact that relations person - society are shown not only in strong social messages. They are shown in artistic structure of speech too. The social debate enters inside of the private debate. The reports between private writing, poetic description and the speech that unites publicity, rhetoric with its elements, social program, debate and propaganda, are different on the pages of this work, giving a mosaical structure to the novel. The presence of such a structure is understood since the initial combination between the novel in the first person and the novel in a diary form. And afterwards, with frequent passings from the personal speech, which is typical for a diary to the impersonal one, typical for publicity and rhetoric.
