Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to analyze the importance of ecological footprint including the carbon footprint and water footprint. The essence of the ecological footprint is discussed in the paper and the categories of demand are discussed. Further, the measurement of the ecological footprint has been discussed by the authors. The following article discusses carbon footprint and water footprint.
