Summary/Abstract: In the future, they will determine the growth and the socio-economic development of countries. The objective of the paper is presentation of innovation in regional development. Innovation as a factor of regional development is differently analyzed. The one of the divisions in this regard. Innovation is the driving force of modern economy and it requires investment and support.
