Summary/Abstract: Pamela Bosak sums up the fifth edition of the KRoki International Contemporary Dance Festival in Krakow (12-21.05.2017). She analyzes four performances: Guilherme Bothelo’s Antes, Adi Weinberg’s Living/leaving, Electrodomestis Constanza Macras’ Electrodomestis, and Arkadi Zaides’ Dorky Park and Archive. The description and interpretation of various scenes help the author juxtapose the themes the artists raise with the slogan of this year’s edition of the festival: “In Conflict?”. Bosak believes that curator Jadwiga Majewska’s program let viewers explore the problems in societies threatened by political conflicts, such as those inhabited by the artists invited to Krakow.
