Nowe praktyczne narzędzia do oceny zagrożeń w różnorodnym środowisku termicznym
New practical tool for assessing hazards in a diverse thermal environment

Summary/Abstract: A comprehensive method for assessing hazards in a thermal environment has been developed at CIOP-PIB. It is based on European standards. Its advantage consists in making it possible to evaluate different types of thermal environments (cold, hot, mixed), differently than required by standards, each of which covers one specific type of thermal environment only. This article presents general principles of using this method and a related web app, which is available at CIOP-PIB’s website. It also discusses a way of verifying this method with the participation of workers at cold and hot workstations.
