Summary/Abstract: In this study, it is aimed to determine how the Syrian refugees, other than the camps and camps in Antakya, used the place and the process of interaction with this province in Hatay as a result of the civil war that started in 2011. With the problem of Syrian asylum seekers becoming a problem in our country as a whole, the number of migrants exceeding 384 thousand in Syria and reaching 1.555.165 in 2016 exceeded 21% of Syrian refugees. The results of this short-term population increase in Hatay, where the existing infrastructure is already experiencing the pains of being a metropolis and the agricultural drought is seen, are not yet foreseen. In Hatay, where various ethnic elements coexist, the political interactions that will arise in the present situation and the way in which the population balance will develop will create uncertainty in the future. Syrian refugees have many negative effects on social, economic, political-security, basic services. Short-term and temporary migration, if permanent, may affect the psychology and reaction of migrants and migrants. Neither the people of Hatay nor the Syrian refugees predicted that the war would last so long. Therefore, it is essential to be able to avoid the possible negative developments in the future and to produce sustainable solutions to Antakya and Hatay, where the current economic structure has already been severely hit by war.
