Summary/Abstract: Purpose of the article: To identify and analyse various forms of prosumptive activity of final purchasers and to define the scope and specificity of prosumptive activity of the selected groups of respondents. Research methodology/approach: The research was conducted in 2015 among 1200 respondents representing Polish final purchasers. Exploratory factor analysis and semantic differential were used for working out primary data. Key findings/analysis: The respondents’ ability to take the role of prosumers was evaluated as low. Their prosumptive activity was mainly connected with giving opinions and comments about products, and simultaneously acquiring opinions of other consumers beyond the Internet. Practical implications: The research results can serve to work out an offeror business strategy concerning the methods of creating purchaser prosumptive activity. Social implications: The research results point out to the need of changing the behaviour of both the recipients and offerors in terms of their presumptive activity. Article category: research.
