Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the essence of prosumption as consumption trend. The literature approaches (including ways of prosumers’ segmentation) were verified during empirical researches. The formulated hypothesis is that the respondents indicate comparable prosumption activity in relations to market offers and in relations with other users. The research results with the methods of correspondence analysis and cluster analysis have not positively verified this hypothesis. The main conclusions were as the following: the scope of prosumption activity of respondents was limited (especially in the case of co-creating non product elements of offer); they were divided into the others segments than presented in the literature. It’s the contribution to the theory of prosumption having visible applicable values.
