Summary/Abstract: The Act on medical activity, that has been in force since 1st July 2011, has modified the status concerning constitutional affairs of the subjects functioning on the healthcare market. The objective of this article is to characterize different health care entities, which function in healthcare market in Poland and to define the governing bodies in medical entities.
