Summary/Abstract: In this article the author undertakes the issue of creativity in the context of transformation in the education system. Feature of modern society are the rapid change in many areas of human life, including the field of education. The changes become a kind of standard, rule of social functioning. People therefore need help in accommodating to ever faster changing world. An answer to these needs may become a creation understood as an active attitude to life. School is a place, which should promote and develop pupil’s creative activities. Its task is to prepare young generation to carry out roles in a changing society. In order to meet these challenges, we must introduce the process of innovations by modifying and enriching the teaching standard. The pupil, who in school will gain the skill of creative thinking in the future will become active participant of an innovative society.
