Summary/Abstract: The article deals with issues connected with the situation of culture in times of globalization. It is focused upon the following basic groups of issues: economical and cultural changes, social polarization, and equal access to education. Significant attention was drawn to the future of social and cultural security systems in the world, especially to the attempts being made at present to verify social and cultural policies in many countries.
