Summary/Abstract: Education and educational systems in Vietnam against the background of the historical and cultural development of the country (with regard to subjectivity in education). The author presents influences of three great philosophical and religious systems: Confucianism, Zen Buddhism and Taoism on education in Vietnam. He presents educational values and educational achievements in the successive historical epochs of this state. The influence of the colonial politics of France disturbed functioning these educational systems in 19th century. As the result, the state was subordinated firstly France and then Japan. In 20th century come into being the Socialist Republic of Vietnam built on the old and new features of thinking and working of this nation. The article is first in Poland study of the subject matter of development and transformation of the education in Vietnam.
