Summary/Abstract: The paper provides an analysis of the existing normative framework for the performance monitoring of judges and prosecutors in BiH, and its practical application in judiciary performance evaluation. The author takes a critical approach in reassessing the practical value of the applied model, concluding it cannot motivate individuals to engage in serious work, but exclusively to pursue favorable statistics. The author suggests that instead of evaluating the performance of individuals, the performance of the judiciary should be monitored and evaluated based on the performance of the given institution, which would have previously adopted work policies and strategies.
