Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the influences of teachers’ and peers’ attitudes on the foreign language classroom anxiety (FLCA) levels of the students. The study has been carried out at the ELT Department of Dicle University, Faculty of Education. The data have been collected by means of a questionnaire, designed to measure the FLCA levels of the students and an interview, the aim of which is to obtain information about the effects of teachers’ and peers’ attitudes on students with different anxiety levels. The results of the study have revealed that, in a language class, the level of anxiety increases with the influence of teachers and peers.
