Summary/Abstract: If we approach the acquisition of word meaning process within the noun framework, the most particular feature of this period is the priority of the acquisition of concepts which show object. In this study, the conceptual categories of the visual materials used in pre-school education books are being classified according to the Clark 1995. And also an observation on whether it has a distributional equality among subject of the book and visual material is made. Thus, the lexical acquisition data was gathered from the concepts included in preschool education books. By using that data, a description was made according to the conceptual categories.
