Summary/Abstract: Intensively developing fuel industry brings a significant increase of road transport as a way of liquid fuels transportation and also higher risk for the environment and people by not applying to specific procedures. The paper presents the concept of hazardous materials, their labeling, as well as the legal provisions governing the situation in Poland and other European countries. Information from companies operating in the petrochemical industry were used. It was stated, that researched enterprise rigorously obeyed proper (suitable) regulations and no failure during transport of liquid fuel were documented.
