Summary/Abstract: In this research work leadership is analyzed as a social construct and it’s psychosemantic space is identified. Results of social written test for workers from business and public administration institutions are also presented (N=200). The object of the research - formal and informal leadership representations in the individual consciousness of followers. On the basis of theoretical and mathematical-statistic analysis of data, the structure of formal and informal leadership in the individual consciousness of the followers is discovered. The influence of social demographical factors, such as gender, age, length of service, position in the organization and the type of organization, for the formal and informal leadershi[ representations in the individual consciousness is analyzed as well. The results of the research showed the importance of the formal and informal leadership representations in the consciousness of followers in orders to achieve the qualitative interaction between leaders and their followers in the organizations. There is still space for further researches of leadership representations.
