Summary/Abstract: For more than 30 years secondary schools of Lithuania (V–Xth forms) have been using the complex music education system developed by the author of the article, as well as music textbooks, teacher’s books, phono-readers and other educational means prepared by the author and co-authors. The system is under constant development and update. The latest music textbooks and phono-readers (6 textbooks and 6 CD sets-anthologies) were published during 1999–2004. The circulation of the textbooks is renewed every year. The article reveals the essence, structure, and experimental research data of the complex music education system in secondary schools of Lithuania.
