Summary/Abstract: Apart from the wider social significance of video television archives, including Bosnian and Herzegovinian oldest and richest archive of TV BiH, they are of great importance for the realization of diverse citizens’ rights. Most often, requests are about memories or as a specific proof. Since the video material of the documentary and other nature is mainly categorized as archival material, it is the obligation of the television archives to keep it and, in accordance with the regulations, to submit it to the competent institution (archive, Cinematheque) for the satisfaction of the citizens' personal rights.
