The related data were gathered by looking into grammar and writing sections of the subjects’ final exams. Detected errors of pronouns are divided into six subgroups according to the kinds of errors; errors of demonstrative and interrogative pronouns, use of incorrect pronouns, use of incorrect reflexive pronouns, using pronouns instead of possessive adjectives, errors of relative pronouns and errors of indefinite pronouns. It has become clear through this study that errors regarding the wrong use of pronouns are the most common type of errors of pronouns. It was found with a thorough observation that the reasons for errors vary according to the types of errors. The leading causes are that the subjects do not know the exact definition of the word replaced by a pronoun and do not recognize the suffix added to the verb.
