Summary/Abstract: Some Romanian words are so compact, so limited in their phonic space, concentrating centuries of experience. Such words express objects situated beyond their boundaries. Such a word that opens the gates to an entire semantic universe is ‘soul’; it is the way in which the mind, the spirit and the heart together construe and re-construe the world, through language.”Soul’ is the cornerstone of our identity.
