Cognitive-pragmatic and cross-cultural mechanisms of creation of a comic effect in the genre of political parody

Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to studying of cognitive-pragmatic and cross-cultural mechanisms to create a comic effect in the popular genre of comic discourse — political parody. The author examines different approaches to the study of the category of the comic and analyzes the syncretism of verbal, visual and musical techniques of carnivalization of the original frame of the political situation in order to create the comic of the text.
