Summary/Abstract: The scope, character and condition of the materials in the library calls for an urgent and thorough intervention of technical protection, and that means supporting workshops and laboratories such as restoration and conservation, laboratory for microfilming, reprography and bookbinding. Some of these jobs can not wait for the decision of the city government to be more durable to solve the problems. One must intervene as soon as possible, such as binding more extensive periodicals, repair sheath to old publications and necessary treatment for these "patients" among library units. Materials that library contains are only in a manner of speaking "librarian". These are copies of books, newspapers, documents, manuscripts, maps, photographs, posters and the like. which are difficult to find elsewhere or are unique in the world. Updated library function will positively act on all aspects of the performance of the functions of the Archives.
