Summary/Abstract: The authors comment on the parts of the decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, which found certain provisions of the Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest unconstitutional. Analyzing the opinion of the Constitutional Court regarding the termination of certain provisions and a lack of reasoned interpretation to their abolition, the authors offer their vision of the legislative framework for preventing conflicts of interest, describe the difference between preventive and repressive in prevention conflicts of interest and corruption, and analyze the functions of the Commission under the Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest.
